Hi guys,

There is this guy selling a decent JzP helmet, the liner looks complete and with some TLC, this could be turn into a nice M15 JzP, well, an addition of original M15 Chinstrap, proper EM kokaden will be nice. 1219.gif

It does looks like it has a M15 Kurassier spike top instead of a JzP spike top tho.
Some says its common during wartime years.

Hope this helps,

As opposed to this one, man, thats a relic! Yes, it has the proper JzP spike, but phew, talk abt cleaning the rust.

I dont know Mush a bit of a polish and it would be a good display piece .Unfortunately as with everything else nowadays prima examples cost mucho dollares ,so to get a genuine item one must expect lesser quality unless of course you are loaded .Rob. cheers.gif

What Mr. Rob said is true although the seller describes the second one as 'excellent' condition, if thats his idea of excellent condition I would hate to see his idea of bad condition or relic condition...a shard of what I think belonged to a German helmet. LOL ROCK ON Jon 020.[Netz.Ru].gif

why are people buying this crap on ebay ?

Hi Guys,

Yes, Rob, these stuffs are getting more and more expensive,
I just learned today that pickelhauben were expensive even in those days, well, an officer had to buy his own helmet, and a 2nd LT was paid 120 Marks a month and his picklehaube with all the trimmings etc cost 40 marks! exct0006.gif
And the best thing, non prussian kokarden cost an additional extra 25% ! 3e5fa72d.gif

3cavman, perhaps it was what Rob said and perhaps again those guys are looking for some parts to be salvaged, but smetimes the price on ebay escalalte to an unbelievable amount for a relic.....

Phew, thats a lot of money, poor those 2nd LTs . And poor us now... 00009176.gif

Cheers hope this helps,
