Hi Gents,

Jerry went to the Doorn and gave us these fabulous pics.
The Kaiser's uniform, haubes etc are still well preserved in the Doorn, and he still wore them even though he had already abdicated.

Check out his Hussar's uniforms, his feldgrau etc.

Talk abt private purchase haubes, and these are Kaiser Wilhelm II's own. I think I will leave hand and face imprints on all the window displays and will be chasen out by the guards. argue.gif

Jerry also explained that the b/w pic of the kaiser taken showing his handicapped/shorter left arm is rare and those pics are a definate no no during his reign, strickly verbotten. Hence his uniform is quite distinctive, shorter left arm.

These pics are provided by Jerry, thank you so much, Jerry. =hug.gif

Pls enjoy. 00009176.gif

I was just at Doorn Huis last week. It was quite an impressive place to visit.

The Doorn Huis collection is eye popping! I must admit to having a chuckle when I saw the rack of tunics...all with short left arms. Kind of put me in a "Monty Python" groove.

This gonna sound stupid but why do they have short left arms? TIA and rockon.gif Jon 020.[Netz.Ru].gif

The Kaiser had a short left arm...a birth defect.
