Hi gang,

Check this out!
Bruce has an Oldenburg Infantry Regt 91 officer haube with haarbusch for sale.

Looks ok, the oldenburg officer used black plumes for parades and the oldnburg kokarden is also correct. Darn, this piece will escalate to a very pricey price. Gotta see the back of the wappen tho. Oldenburg used 'fur koenig' instead of 'fur fuerst' like the other small states.

Remember Peiper's oldenburg M15?

Hope this helps,

Hi Musashi,
thatīs a beauty, for sure. From a first glance it seems to me untouched. Iīm afraid it could fetch over 3 grands... ??
Ebay could be the problem. No chance for a hands on examination and no return privilege. I wouldnīt dare to bid on such an expensive item. There are too many possibilities for home made restoration, hard to see on a picture. Just my 2cents.
Thanks for posting the info !
Best;

Hi Jerry,

Always nice to see you! 00009176.gif Yes, you are right, ebay is risky. Especially when its a pricey stuffs, hey, Bruce also has a Bavarian OYV Uhlan tscapka.But again, it wll be pricey and its on ebay...

Now check this out, this one is toooo perfect and weird at the same time.

I will appreciate it more if there are no markings at all, as PERHAPS it could pass for a M15 saxon arty.
It seems that there is a black out numbers on the left rear visor (bottom pic), then there is this beautiful written letters stating the 'owner's' name and his status as Einj Freiw (one year volunteer)of the F Art Rgt 32. Well,assuming that 32 A means 32 FAR, Field Art Regt 32 was a Saxon field arty regt, but a OYV in 1915???
Perhaps I am wrong, any comments, guys?

Cheers,
Mush
