HI gang,

Here is an interesting M15 haube, it has 2 Rgt markings, JR 22 and JR 23. It has great liner.
And the bid is still surprisingly low !

Hi Robert,

Yes, size 52, thats pretty small, sometimes it makes me think tho, I mean, allright, nutrition wasnt as good as it is today, but, was it that BAD? Those guys were really small then, wouldnt they look awkward when carrying a rifle? But they didnt look that petit in period pics.

And surprisingly, the haube only fetched $375.

Cheers,
Mush

Hi Mush,
Hi Robert,

nice to meet you again. I was too late on this puppy. Bad luck. :-(

Size: Please keep in mind that the soldiers during the great war were unfortunately sometimes very young. Sixteen years+.

Best;

Hi Jerry!

Great to have you around! 00009176.gif And especially glad to know that you are still collecting haubes thumbsup.gif LoL

16 years old? Now thats very young, btw, I am curious abt the difference in nutrition between the 2 World wars, the SS div Hitler Jugend was also consisted of 16 and 17 years old, were the HJs as small as their WW I counterpart or bigger? I hope I am not off topic here.

Yes, that sized 52 M15 was a surprise, I didnt realize that it will be sold just under 400, and it was well marked, too.

There is another haube on ebay,

but there is another interesting haube on ebay, its a felt ersatz haube, but with pre war brass trimmings, as discussed earlier in another thread:
