Ad in local classifieds: "For Sale; Prussian M15 Shako Plate Lobstertail Helmet, Dress, Bright finish, marked 1914, no chin strap."

Anybody got an idea about this? Is it a Kurassier (Calvary) helmet? Bright finish?

Yep shiny metal finish replaced later in the war with Jappaned black ,get some photos and put them here and we will tell you what it is .Rob
